Surety industry leader Brian Daniels has joined UFG Surety (the surety division of UFG Insurance) as regional manager overseeing expansion of its surety bonding footprint into the northwestern United States.

“Brian has been an entrepreneurial leader within the surety industry for nearly 14 years,” explains Vice President and Director of UFG Surety Dennis Richmann. “His longstanding career in surety coupled with his focus on serving the needs of northwestern states, Hawaii and other states, makes his unique expertise a strong addition to our growing team. We’re pleased to have his trusted reputation at the helm of UFG Surety’s expansion into that part of the country.”

The addition of Daniels — who’s located in Seattle — to UFG Surety and its extension into the northwest comes on the heels of an expansion last month into the state of Virginia, led by new-hire Benton Kyner. Other recent developments include the addition of Channing Black, a lead commercial surety underwriter in Florida, and a new ufgQuick online submission platform for credit-based contract business that launched in the fall of 2021.

“Our growth and dedication to continuous innovation is a testament to the exceptional service we’ve cultivated over our 70-year history in surety bonding and the promise of opportunity we offer for agents,” adds Richmann. “The UFG Surety team takes pride in being a responsive, trusted and knowledgeable go-to resource for agents. Our momentum says, to me, we offer a surety bonding experience unlike others.”

UFG has been in the surety bonds industry since 1952 and works with independent agents across the country. For more information, visit ufginsurance.com/surety or call 800-332-7977.
