Now in its 67th year, the annual IMCA Showcase Awards celebrates ground-breaking marketing and communications projects across the expansive insurance industry. Judges with diverse marketing-related backgrounds reviewed nearly 300 submissions and bestowed 153 awards in 66 categories this year.

UFG is proud to be the recipient of two silver accolades and one gold award based on project effectiveness, focus, execution and call to action.

“I continue to be inspired by the caliber of talent within UFG Corporate Marketing,” explained UFG AVP, Marketing Communications Manager Casey Prince. “Recognition by our IMCA peers validates the role marketing and communications professionals play in achieving corporate goals, rowing in tandem with business units and enabling functions to propel the company forward.”

Awards were conferred during the IMCA’s annual Ignite Conference, where UFG Corporate Marketing Project Management Manager Alissa Carson was named the IMCA’s 2025 Trailblazer. The yearly Trailblazer Award honors a professional who’s making indispensable contributions to the field of insurance marketing and communications.

“Alissa is a shining example of innovation and ingenuity,” continued Prince. “Her incredible career journey from a UFG mailroom intern to one of today’s corporate marketing leaders, combined with her 18-year commitment to the mission and aptitude for strategic execution, make her truly deserving of trailblazing status.”

This marks the eighth consecutive year that UFG Corporate Marketing has received IMCA recognition.
