UFG Insurance is pleased to announce that Karen Henshaw has been selected to serve as vice president of underwriting enablement. Henshaw is an accomplished industry consultant, who brings more than 20 years of expertise in commercial underwriting processes and procedures to UFG. 

In her new role, she will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, consistency and compliance in underwriting workflows, guidelines, training, quality assurance and more, collaborating closely with underwriting leaders throughout the company. 

Henshaw’s insurance career includes more than 13 years at CNA Insurance, where she served in various underwriting leadership roles. Prior to that, she was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance and Olympic Insurance Agency. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Regis University.
