UFG Insurance initiates response team following Hurricane Ida

When your ready, we're ready. File a claim. In the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, UFG Insurance reminds Louisiana policyholders that claims teams are ready to help. The company has deployed a special catastrophe (CAT) team with experienced members from across the country to assist.

“Adjusters and customer service associates are prepared to help our insureds and agents through this devastation,” says UFG vice president and chief claims officer Corey Ruehle. “For this storm to have happened on the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina adds another layer of grief for those who suffered a loss – it’s our hope that our gold-standard claims service can help policyholders through this painful time with speed, efficiency and, just as important, compassion.”
