CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – October 21, 2026

Twenty-one community-focused programs across Arizona, California, Colorado and Iowa are benefiting from UFG Foundation grants this fall. The charitable foundation of UFG Insurance — a property and casualty insurance company based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa — works to allocate gifts throughout its seven-region footprint. This funding cycle granted $175,000 of support.

“We’re proud to have been able to support communities in eastern Iowa and beyond at the close of this year’s second funding cycle,” explained UFG AVP, Marketing Communications Manager Casey Prince, also a foundation representative. “Our roots run deep in Cedar Rapids, where we’ve been headquartered for 80 years and counting, but the branches of our corporate tree span the country.”

Grant recipients include:

  • A Precious Child (Colorado)
  • Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation
  • Camp Kesem National (California)
  • Cedar Rapids Opera
  • Central Furniture Rescue
  • Children's Burn Foundation (California)
  • Coe College
  • Community Health Free Clinic
  • ETM-Colorado, Inc.

  • Saturday Evening Meal Program
  • Special Olympics Iowa
  • St. Luke’s Child Protection Center

  • The Joy Bus (Arizona)

“We take our mission to enhance communities where we live and work very seriously,” Prince continued. “The programs and organizations awarded grants this cycle are enriching lives in meaningful ways, and we’re honored to be part of their positive progress.”
