UFG appoints Brian Rawlins as SVP and chief claim officer

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — November 11, 2025

UFG Insurance is pleased to announce that Brian Rawlins has been appointed senior vice president (SVP) and chief claim officer, effective November 17, 2025. As part of the executive leadership team, Rawlins will be responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the company’s claim organization.

His proven track record in leading and empowering high-performing teams makes him uniquely qualified to lead UFG’s claim organization as we deliver exceptional claim experiences for policyholders,” said UFG President and CEO Kevin Leidwinger.   

“I am honored and excited to continue my career journey at UFG,” said Rawlins. “I look forward to supporting the success of my new claim colleagues while building on the company’s commitment to providing an exceptional claims experience to policyholders — keeping people at the heart of every claim.”

Rawlins has a bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and holds the CPCU and AIC professional insurance designations.
