As Tropical Storm Gordon strengthens and approaches the Gulf coastline, UFG Insurance is closely monitoring the situation and preparing to deploy catastrophe teams to the area to assist the customers of our Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi agents who are in the path of the storm.
Though we hope Gordon doesn't strengthen significantly prior to making landfall, we strongly encourage our customers to heed all safety advice from local authorities and to take any safety measures to minimize the impact of this storm.

Additional information will be forthcoming depending on the impact of Gordon, which is predicted to make landfall tonight, Tuesday, September 4. We will continue to monitor Gordon closely as we prepare to help our Gulf Coast-area customers in the aftermath of this storm.
