As a member of an integrated marketing communications team, the multimedia specialist conceptualizes, designs, executes and measures digital promotions, specifically in the video, photography and social media arenas. The multimedia specialist works in close collaboration with the senior multimedia specialist as well as copywriters, graphic and motion designers, project managers and the marketing communications manager to produce digital creative assets that support the corporate brand, drive sales and inform employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Shoot and edit promotional and training videos, while incorporating concept development and storyboarding.
  • Capture live audio/video and photography at corporate events and meetings.
  • Conceptualize and work with copywriter and graphic designer to develop promotional videos for external audiences, internal videos for employees, and training videos for marketing representatives and agents.
  • Develop visual content for dynamic social media campaigns and posts.
  • Work with copywriter and social media team to create interesting visual content (video, infographics, imagery) that aligns with messaging.
  • Stay abreast of emerging video technologies and provide technical, strategic guidance to the marketing communications team in these areas.
  • Serve as one of the company professional photographers and conduct photo shoots throughout the year to expand creative asset library.
  • Provide video expertise in the areas of audio, lighting, technology, best practices and creative execution.
  • Configure and use web analytics as a tool for recognizing strategic promotional opportunities, citing patterns and trends in the digital space.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, broadcast journalism, photography or other related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital media including video production and/or photography.

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Proficient in working with Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Maxon Cinema 4D a plus.
  • Skilled in field audio recording. Including audio mixers and wireless mics.
  • A strong portfolio highlighting work in visual/interactive/motion design and photography.
  • Additional print graphic design or web design portfolio a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to develop dynamic digital concepts that are effective and creative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to work well with people from many disciplines with varying degrees of business and technical experience.
  • Energetic, positive personality. Works well in a team setting.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work within deadlines.
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally to offsite locations for shoots and other events.
