Administrative Assistant

UFG is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support management in performing daily operations of the department., coordinate department activities, andperform clerical functions to assist all functional areas of the branch (loss control, audit, underwriting and marketing).   General duties to include arranging and organizing department meetings, handling travel arrangements, developing and maintaining spreadsheets used to track performance, developing & maintaining PowerPoint presentations,  maintaining service account systems/programs, maintaining logs, mailing and emailing documents and reports, ordering supplies, computer entry, maintain the loss control system, type correspondence and all other duties as assigned.


  • Computer Entry/Inquiry
  • Distribution of Loss Control internal and external reports
  • Coordinate Midterm Meeting Reports and Booklets
  • Maintain Loss Control Logs and Lists
  • Review Completed loss control reports, review new survey assignments, in the Loss Control Managers Dashboard
  • Process fee company reports in the Loss Control System
  • Library updates. Order supplies.
  • clerical duties for reps & mgmt.
  • Department Coordinator



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two year college degree preferred


  • 3+ years office/insurance experience

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
  • ACL, MIS & Imaging skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Knowledge of work management systems.
  • Organization skills
  • Filing skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products including Word and Excel and Outlook.
