The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for the support and monitoring of a variety of enterprise wide information system defense products as well as the supporting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Helps develops, maintain, and applies relevant security policies and procedures to protect system from intentional or unintentional damage.
  • Identify potential software and configuration vulnerabilities within the organization
  • Designs, administers and monitors various information security products and tools.
  • Performs analysis and investigations of access control and violations.
  • Performs audits to ensure compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Upgrades policies and procedures according to changing security requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate’s degree in computer science, information technology or other related field
  • Security certifications a plus

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in Networking, Security, Server or Systems Administration
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting preferred

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Understanding of encryption, encrypting technologies and PKI
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products, creation of systems documentation
  • Knowledge in firewall protocols, implementation and best practices of firewall technology
  • Good troubleshooting, problem solving, documentation and communication skills
  • Excels in collaborative environment
