As the holiday season comes and goes, we want to thank you for everything you’ve done for us over the past year.

Inspired by our great partnership, we’re here to give you three ways to provide great services to your insureds.

1. Hand-written note

This one screams old school, but everyone loves a hand-written note. From a loved one, a colleague, a kid or even someone in a parking lot – “I accidentally bumped into your car in the parking lot. Sorry about that. Flip this over for my contact info.”

Ugh, that stinks. Hand-written notes continue to get the job done, especially when a customer least expects it.

2. Offering tickets to shows, sports and concerts

If your customer is a big football fan, I wouldn’t recommend giving them tickets to the opera. If they love the theatre, I don’t know if they’d appreciate little weenies at a tailgate.

My point is that tickets to sporting events, plays, concerts or comedy shows need to be tailored to the individual at hand. And you may want to find out if they prefer little weenies or fancy caviar.

3. Be personal

We’re building a theme here. Whatever it is you do for your customers, make sure it’s personalized just for them. Our digital world makes it easier than ever to automate client interactions... but the number one rule is stay genuine, be personal and never offer a Shakespearean theatregoer a little weenie smothered in the finest of lip-smacking barbeque sauce...everyone knows they prefer a slice of ham-let.

Okay, time to land this airplane! We hope this helps remind you to provide personalized service to your customers both internally and externally at your agency.

And again agents, thank you so much for being such great partners. Everything we’re working on is with and through you!

Have a safe and fun holiday season. And, as always, catch you later.
